Route 23, Mile Markers 15 - 21

I’m not sure why you want to take Route 23. I wouldn’t if I were you, but I guess you’ve got your reasons. Even if you do go, you have to accept that you might bypass the relevant stretch entirely. I dug up what I could, but I have to warn you that a lot of the accounts don’t match. I think there have been a few Route 23s over the past hundred years or so and some have been renamed, so I’m not even positive these are all talking about the same road. Anyway, printouts of original documents have been included along with my notes wherever possible, but I couldn’t find great sources for everything here. Have fun out there.
